Urgent Care Physician Assistant

Vital Now Urgent Care and Wellness is a new, physician-owned and operated hybrid urgent care and primary care clinic in Taylorsville, NC. We are hiring a full-time provider to join our founding clinical team. You will see the full range of urgent care visits and perform urgent care procedures, supported by onsite digital X-ray, ultrasound, and CLIA-waived point-of-care testing — everything you need to diagnose and treat under one roof.

New graduates are welcome. You will receive hands-on training and direct physician mentorship until you are practicing confidently and independently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent care patients across the age spectrum (pediatric through adult)
• Perform urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, incision and drainage, splinting, foreign body removal, and wound care
• Order and interpret onsite digital X-rays, point-of-care ultrasound, and CLIA-waived labs (strep, flu, COVID, urinalysis, and more)
• Provide primary care services, including physicals, preventive care, and chronic disease management
• Document accurately and efficiently in the EMR
• Collaborate directly with the physician owner on patient care and clinic operations

Qualifications

• Current or eligible North Carolina license; DEA registration or eligibility
• BLS certification (ACLS/PALS a plus)
• New graduates encouraged to apply — urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience is a plus, not a requirement
• Procedural aptitude and a commitment to excellent, compassionate patient care
