Job Description
Spherion Staffing is hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance/ Make Ready Technician for an apartment complex in Wichita Falls, TX! Applicants MUST be EPA certified AND have hands-on HVAC experience to be considered.
Work schedule is Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, with 2 weeks on call at a time.
Responsibilities:
- Will run service requests, to fix items in apartment units including appliance repairs, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance, Painting.
- Doing make-readies, to get units completed for new residents to move in.
- Change out appliances, cabinetry, etc.
- Drywall and sheetrock repairs.
- Cleaning grounds, pools, helping with any/all maintenance requirements.
- Troubleshoot HVAC units. Change out parts after troubleshooting and/ or fully changing out an entire system.
- Troubleshooting appliances, plumbing, electrical, painting, and sheetrock and make repairs
Skills:
- Able to be physically active for duration of shift and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Able to be on call 2 weeks of the month
Qualifications:
- Must have Make Ready experience
- Must have hands-on HVAC experience
- Must have EPA certification to handle freon.
- Must submit to a background and drug screen
