Job Summary:
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings in en_US. This role involves evaluating, rehabilitating, and developing treatment plans for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. The position requires adherence to clinical standards, regulatory guidelines, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. The role also includes documentation, participation in meetings, and supervision of clinical fellows or students as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS; State Licenses: Texas; Education Requirements: CCC-certified Speech-Language Pathologist; Experience: 1 year of SLP experience, LTC or rehab experience; Location Requirements: Texas; Years of Experience: 1 year.
- Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of experience holding active CCS credential.
- Additional Information: Able to obtain any necessary durable medical equipment (DME) or supplies per regulatory standards; capable of supervising and supporting Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates or student speech-language pathologists; participation in required meetings and training sessions; adherence to American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state practice acts, ethics, and codes of conduct.
