Field Operations Manager – Tenant in Place

Location: Brooklyn, New York
Pay: $27 -32 per hour
Schedule: Approximately 35 hours per week

Reports To: Director of Operations

Job Summary

Hudson Loop is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Manager to oversee daily field operations. The Manager will supervise employees, coordinate assignments, inspect completed work, and ensure projects are completed safely, professionally, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field staff and assign daily tasks.
• Manage schedules, attendance, timekeeping, and performance.
• Lead morning briefings and communicate daily priorities.
• Oversee unit preparation, deliveries, supply distribution, moving support, and site-readiness work.
• Inspect completed assignments for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain photos, work records, incident reports, and daily updates.
• Communicate with property-management teams, residents, vendors, and Hudson Loop leadership.
• Resolve onsite issues quickly and professionally.
• Enforce safety procedures, company policies, uniforms, and professional conduct.
• Train, coach, and hold team members accountable.

Qualifications

• At least three years of management or supervisory experience.
• College degree preferred.
• Experience in property operations, facilities, construction, moving, logistics, or hospitality preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage several employees and assignments simultaneously.
• Comfortable using smartphones, messaging apps, and digital reporting systems.
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently.
• Ability to walk throughout properties, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings and occasional evenings or weekends.
