Government Sales Specialist

Role Description: The Government Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role located in Boca Raton, FL. This position is responsible for managing and growing sales to government and transit customers by identifying opportunities, preparing quotes, and following up on bids and contracts. Day-to-day activities include communicating with procurement and fleet management contacts, responding to inquiries, and providing product information and pricing. The specialist will maintain customer records, track orders, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction. The role also involves negotiating terms within established guidelines, attending occasional customer meetings, and contributing to sales planning and forecasting for the government sector.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with government and transit clients.

Candidates should possess proven Sales and Customer Satisfaction skills to drive revenue growth and build long-term relationships.

Candidates should possess effective Negotiation skills to manage pricing, contracts, and terms within company policies.

Experience with government or transit procurement processes, bids, and contracts is highly beneficial.

Knowledge of automotive or heavy-duty bus parts and fleet operations is preferred.

Proficiency with CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing) is expected.

Ability to work on-site full-time in Boca Raton, FL, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Relevant education or equivalent experience in sales, business, or a related field is advantageous.
