Job Description
Exciting opportunities are now open for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists interested in making a difference in school settings. Multiple contract roles are available for the upcoming school year, supporting students across elementary and middle school environments. Candidates will work collaboratively to help students overcome communication challenges and succeed academically and personally. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible onsite and hybrid options to suit your needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid and active KS SLP License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Pediatric or school-based SLP experience is advantageous
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and intervention for students in elementary or middle school caseloads
- Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support and consult with educators to adapt classroom strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations
- Facilitate direct and consultative services across multiple school sites as needed
- Engage families, participate in IEP meetings, and adapt to dynamic student needs
Position & Caseload Details:
- Full-time Middle School: 45–50 students across 2 schools
- Full-time Elementary: 50–55 students across 2 schools
- Part-time Elementary: 20 students
- Both full-time and part-time scheduling options available
- Open to hybrid/remote flexibility
