Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Kansas SLP license (required)
- CCC-SLP credential preferred
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
- Organizational skills to effectively manage a caseload
Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of students (caseloads range from 20 to 55, depending on role)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance
- Engage families in the therapy process and support carryover of skills at home
- Participate in school meetings and committees as needed
