Wheel & Tire Operator

Pay Range: $18–$21 per hour

Position Summary

Responsible for performing basic wheel and tire mounting, handling, and warehouse activities in a commercial/truck tire operation. This position supports daily production while following safety, quality, and operating procedures.

Essential Duties

• Mount and dismount commercial and truck tires onto wheels using tire mounting equipment.
• Operate tire changers, wheel balancers, lifts, and other shop equipment.
• Inspect tires and wheels for visible damage, defects, or irregularities.
• Inflate tires to specified pressures and perform basic quality checks.
• Load, unload, move, stage, and organize tires, wheels, and related materials.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and warehouse organization.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate product locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment operating practices.
• Perform other production and warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, tire, automotive, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to operate basic tools and equipment.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy tires and wheels.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work as part of a team.
