Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Kansas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly desirable
  • Experience working with school-aged children (elementary and/or middle school preferred)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt within different school environments and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans for students with speech and language needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, tailoring interventions to individual goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and comprehensive documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development as needed
  • Provide consultation and resources to teachers and caregivers
