Nursing Assistant | Great Barrington, Massachusetts

Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time opportunity is ideal for a Certified Nursing Assistant who excels at providing compassionate, one-on-one care and is ready to assist a student who is non-ambulatory and requires complete support for activities of daily living (ADLs).

Schedule:

• Full-time, 30 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

• Valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license required
• Current CPR certification
• Experience supporting individuals with mobility limitations or significant daily living needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with school-age children
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism within an educational setting
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all students

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, one-on-one care for a non-ambulatory student, assisting with transfers, mobility, medication administration, hygiene, feeding, and other ADLs
• Support the student throughout the school day to ensure safety, comfort, and active participation in learning
• Collaborate closely with educators, school healthcare staff, and the student’s family to execute individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate records and promptly report changes in student status or care needs
• Uphold all health, safety, and privacy protocols
