ICC Special Inspector - Non-Destructive Testing Inspector

Local engineering and testing firm seeking a ICC Certified & Nondestructive Testing Technician Level II to join our Charleston office. Applicant should be ASNT Certified as a Level II Inspector in MT, PT, RT & UT or capable of meeting the in-house certification requirements based on SNT-TC-1A. ICC Certifications for Structural Steel & Bolting and Structural Welding Inspector.

Certified Welding Inspectors and ICC Certified Technicians are encouraged to apply.

• Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to routinely lift 40 to 50 lbs.

• Capable of working as a contributing member in a small team environment.

• Willingness to work in plant environments, client facilities, and outdoors.

• Flexibility in work hours when needed if night or weekend work is required.

• Capable of working at heights with safety gear.

• Willing to learn new skills and seek Level III certification when appropriate

• Detail-oriented to fully document work performed, results and conformance with codes
