Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant (CMA) to support providers and patients in a busy clinic setting. The role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities while providing care to patients of all age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients, support customer flow, and assist providers with examinations and treatment.
- Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed.
- Collect specimens and perform phlebotomy/lab testing as needed.
- Provide telephone support, prescription refill assistance, and provider communication.
- Assist with front-desk duties, supplies, and prior authorizations as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Primary Care experience required.
- Current BLS certification.
- CMA/RMA certification as applicable.
LPN candidates: Active Minnesota LPN/PN license, clinical experience, and current BLS required.
