Job Description
Make an immediate impact supporting students’ well-being and academic success as a full-time, onsite school psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. This contract position offers you a chance to use your expertise in assessment, consultation, and intervention to help students thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid School Psychologist licensure in Michigan is required
- Proven experience working as a School Psychologist within school settings
- Strong assessment, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with a range of diagnostic tools and intervention strategies
- Ability to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Clear communication with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and areas for growth
- Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design effective support strategies
- Interpret, document, and communicate assessment results to relevant stakeholders
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to support students’ academic and behavioral goals
- Foster a positive, inclusive school climate that values diverse learners
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and special education regulations
