Job Description
Special Education Teachers with a passion for empowering students are invited to inspire and support learners for a long-term contract assignment running from August through December, with potential to extend through early June. This opportunity is based near Livonia, MI, and requires educators with an LBS1 endorsement to help make a lasting impact within a welcoming school environment.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid LBS1 certification
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Ability to adapt lesson plans for various learning styles and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum materials and instructional techniques to meet students’ abilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff
- Track and report on student progress, maintaining accurate documentation
- Communicate with families to foster partnership and understanding
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
