Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to students in an engaging school setting near Americus, KS. Support learners either full-time or part-time within both elementary and middle school communities, playing a crucial role in their communication development. Hybrid arrangements are available for qualified candidates seeking flexibility.

Opportunities available include:

  • Full-time Middle School SLP: Manage a caseload of 45–50 students across two schools.
  • Full-time Elementary SLP: Oversee a caseload of 50–55 elementary students across two schools.
  • Part-time Elementary SLP: Provide services for approximately 20 students.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current Kansas SLP license required.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Prior experience in a school or educational setting highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working onsite or in a hybrid setting, as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy to assigned caseloads.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and district standards.
  • Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical requirements.
  • Engage in meetings, professional development, and continuing education as required by the district.
