Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to students in an engaging school setting near Americus, KS. Support learners either full-time or part-time within both elementary and middle school communities, playing a crucial role in their communication development. Opportunities available include:
- Full-time Middle School SLP: Manage a caseload of 45–50 students across two schools.
- Full-time Elementary SLP: Oversee a caseload of 50–55 elementary students across two schools.
- Part-time Elementary SLP: Provide services for approximately 20 students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current Kansas SLP license required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Prior experience in a school or educational setting highly preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working onsite or in a hybrid setting, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy to assigned caseloads.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and district standards.
- Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical requirements.
- Engage in meetings, professional development, and continuing education as required by the district.
