Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay shift, 4x10 hour schedule (06:45 - 17:15). One week day call per week and every 5th weekend call.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a STEMI/PCI facility. The ideal candidate must have their ARRT certification at the time of submittal and be STEMI ready. Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) is a plus, as float assignments may occur if Cath Lab/IR cases are low.
Responsibilities- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including stents, angioplasty, and angiograms.
- Conduct specialized interventions such as paracentesis and thoracentesis.
- Maintain a patient census of approximately 25-30 in a 7-room facility.
- Be available for on-call duties as required for operations and emergencies.
- Document patient care using the Epic EMR system.
- Must possess ARRT certification.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- At least 2 years of experience in a STEMI/PCI facility.
- Ohio license preferred; pending OH license is acceptable if MI license is in hand.
- Experience with Siemens or Phillips equipment is preferred.
