1st Shift - Carpenter

Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Carpenters for our Saint Charles client.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Shift: 1st shift - 7:00am - 4:00pm, end time may vary may, employee may need to work longer hours

Job Summary:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other building materials
• Construct and repair frameworks, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture
• Install fixtures, trim, and finishing materials
• Inspect structures and identify repair or maintenance needs
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and other tradespeople to complete projects on time
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Proven experience as a carpenter
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Good mathematical and measuring skills
• Physical strength, stamina, and manual dexterity
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices
