Physical Therapist - Per Diem

The Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation and community re-entry facility in Lake Katrine, NY, specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Ventilator Care and Ventilator Weaning, Neurobehavioral Disorders, and Complex Medical Recovery. We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist-Per Diem to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate competence in Physical Therapy evaluation, goal setting, treatment, and EMR documentation

  • Chart appropriately and timely

  • Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers

  • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information

  • Maintain an excellent working relationship with facility staff members

  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility

  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language

  • Provide dependable, regular per diem coverage

Requirements:

  • Must possess a degree from an accredited academic program conferring the title of Registered Physical Therapist

  • Possess a current, unencumbered, NYS license and maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment

  • 1 year of experience in a therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility preferred
