Hiring Immediately for Facility Maintenance Technician

Position Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

1st shift- 6am- 2:30pm OT available

2nd shift- 3pm-11pm OT available

Job Duties.

• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on facility systems, equipment, and building infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair facility-related issues, including replacing parts and making adjustments to systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, maintenance requests, and inspections.
• Adhere to safety standards, including lock-out/tag-out procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with facilities projects and support outside contractors as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Use of tools ranging from common hand and power tools, hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5 years minimum of proven facility/warehouse experience
• Proficiency in the use of computer skills such as Emails and Word
• Self-motivated
• Outside in the elements work as needed
• Problem solving skills
• Hilo experience
• Scissor lift experience
• Not afraid of heights up to 45'
• Walking a 1,000,000 sq ft building daily as needed " carts are provided but sometimes not available "
• Cardboard baler experience a plus
• Proficiency in dock locking systems and loading docks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and organizational skills
• Previous inventory experience as asset
• Maintain a valid driver’s license/forklift license.
• Knowledge of 5S and housekeeping initiatives

Job Type: Full-time - Facility Maintenance Worker

Pay: $24.00 per hour
