Electrical Panel Builder: Machesney Park, Illinois
A growing, family-owned manufacturer of backup power enclosures and fuel tanks is looking for an Electrical Assembly Technician to join their team in Machesney Park, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, repair, and rework electrical assemblies efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Install conduit, wire switches and receptacles, and perform AC/DC wiring.
- Label and terminate wires.
- Perform 480V and 240V wiring.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, measuring devices, and electrical instruments.
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, tape measures, written instructions, and established procedures.
- Complete troubleshooting steps for mechanical equipment according to inspection procedures.
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality and meeting on-time delivery requirements.
- Support other areas of the production floor as needed.
Skills & Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or GED, required
- Experience: 1+ year as an Electrical Technician, required
- Knowledge: AC/DC wiring, 480V and 240V wiring, power tools, and electrical instruments, required
- Ability: to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams, required

Type: Full-time, 1st Shift, On-site
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
