Job Summary: 
 

Baker Landscaping & Concrete, LLC is seeking a motivated and dependable Lawncare Maintenance Worker II to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will assist in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, clean, and visually appealing. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in landscaping with on-the-job training provided. 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• None. 

Duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

• Perform basic groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding. 
• Assist with planting, mulching, and pruning trees, shrubs, and flowers. 
• Operate and maintain hand tools and small power equipment (including but not limited to lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning shears, chain saws, sod cutters, and snow blowers) safely and effectively. 
• Clean and maintain outdoor areas, including pathways, patios, and parking lots. 
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials for daily assignments. 
• Follow instructions from supervisors and complete tasks in a timely manner. 
• Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and procedures at all times. 
• Assist with seasonal maintenance activities, such as leaf removal and snow clearing, as needed. 
• Communicate with customers and coworkers in a polite and courteous manner. 

Required Skills/Abilities:  

• 2+ years of experience in Landscaping & Ground Maintenance. 
• A Valid Driver’s License (with safe driving record) and willingness to obtain class E. 
• Willing to obtain a MO Applicator’s License, Category 3 and/or 6. 
• Reliable transportation to job sites. 
• Flexible working hours (weekends occasionally). 

 


Education and Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 

Physical Requirements:  

• Prolonged periods standing and walking. 
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions. 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. 

 
Work Environment and Conditions: 

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. 
• Ability to work on uneven terrain, such as dirt, grass, or gravel surfaces. 
• Exposure to loud noises from equipment and vehicles. 
• May require wearing protective gear such as gloves, safety boots, or reflective vests.
