As a Speech Language Pathologist-Per Diem, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate competence in Speech Language Pathology evaluation, goal setting, treatment, and EMR documentation

• Chart appropriately and timely

• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers

• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information

• Maintain an excellent working relationship with facility staff members

• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility

• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Provide dependable, regular per diem coverage

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology

• 1 year of experience in a therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility preferred

• Possess a current, unencumbered, NYS license and maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment

About Our Facility:

Our 39-acre rural campus in Mid-Hudson Valley features shops, a library, music studio, post office, cafe, clubhouse, lounge, art studio, hair salon, gym, and a park with walking/jogging path. We are committed to promoting re-acquisition of cognitive, physical, and social skills in a naturalistic setting.

Hourly: $55
