GPS Jobs, Inc. is currently hiring Assemblers for immediate positions in Rock Hill, SC.

Shifts: 7AM – 4PM OR 3:30PM – 11:30PM, Monday to Friday.

What You Will Do

Pump Assembly (2nd Shift Focus)

Assemble pumps, sub-assemblies, and related components using engineering drawings and work instructions
Perform mechanical tasks including fitting, alignment, torquing, and installation of seals, bearings, impellers, and couplings
Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks) to move materials and finished goods
Track production and maintain accurate records in ERP systems

Electrical & Mechanical Assembly

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
Perform electrical assembly including wiring, connectors, and harnessing
Complete mechanical assembly tasks such as fastening, fitting, and component installation
Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify tolerances
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and functionality standards are met

General Manufacturing Assembly

What You Need

High school diploma or GED
2–5 years of assembly or manufacturing experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and instructions.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work overtime, including occasional weekends.
Steel toe boots are required.

Preferred:

Experience with pump assembly, electrical wiring/harnessing, welding and fabrication preferred.
Familiarity with hydrostatic testing and vibration concepts preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for 8–10 hour shifts.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in a environment with noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
