Pallet Sorter
Location: Lugoff, SC 29078
Pay: $16.50/hr
Shifts: 3rd shift 6pm - 6am
Summary: The Pallet Sorter will be sorting wooden pallets by hand, separating damaged pallets, performing a quality check.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities and Expectations
- Safety toed boots and other PPE provided
- Nail gun experience preferred but not required.
- Sort wooden pallets
- Separate damaged pallets
- Identify the difference between pallet grades and separating them
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull wooden pallets regularly
- Requires quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
- Observance of all safety rules and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardized requirements exist
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Excellent oral and written communication skills needed
