Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling, deburring, and finishing precision components and products according to drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hand and power tools, and able to perform detailed assembly and deburring work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical components and finished products according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Deburr machined components by removing sharp edges, burrs, and excess material to meet required specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform finishing and clean-up of parts using files, grinders, sanders, deburring tools, and other appropriate equipment.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and other assembly equipment safely and effectively.
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Inspect components during the assembly and deburring process to ensure proper fit, finish, alignment, and quality.
  • Perform basic measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures.
  • Identify defective or non-conforming components and communicate quality concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with production, machining, quality, and engineering teams to meet production schedules.
  • Assist with additional manufacturing or production duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous assembly, deburring, manufacturing, machining, production, fabrication, or mechanical experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read basic drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Experience with precision measuring equipment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic assembly or fitment issues.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move materials as required.
