About the Role:
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with Aspire Senior Living New Florence, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to our residents, including assessing, treating, and evaluating communication and swallowing disorders. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support each resident's unique needs and goals.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations of residents' speech, language, and swallowing abilities
Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
Provide individual and group therapy sessions to residents, including speech, language, and cognitive therapy
Conduct regular assessments and progress reports to measure treatment outcomes
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care and services provided
Participate in staff training and education programs to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program CFY or CCC-SLP certification
Licensure in the State of Missouri
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
