Retail Sales Associate

Phat City is looking for an outgoing, dependable and motivated Sales Associate to join our team.

We’re not a traditional retail store. Phat City is a designer collectibles and art-focused retail experience built around collecting, culture, community and live commerce.

You don’t need to be an expert in collectibles—we can teach you that. We’re looking for someone with the personality, work ethic and confidence to connect with customers and sell.

THE JOB

You’ll help run the day-to-day sales floor, including:

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Learning our products and helping customers discover new pieces
• Making sales and completing customer transactions
• Keeping merchandise and displays clean and organized
• Restocking and helping receive new inventory
• Helping maintain the overall appearance of the store
• Creating a welcoming, positive experience for everyone who walks through the door
• Assisting with special events, releases and busy weekends when needed

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Personality matters.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, energetic and comfortable talking to people
• Confident selling and recommending products
• Reliable and on time
• Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable learning new products and technology
• Interested in art, collectibles, sneakers, streetwear, pop culture or similar communities

Retail or sales experience is preferred, but the right personality and work ethic are more important.
