Role Summary:

Work independently and as a team to fulfill orders in a production environment for Reserva Coffee Roasters.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare kitchen and bakery items as required.

  • Bake bakery items on a as needed basis to support cafe operations.

  • Unbox inventory and input into inventory system, relocate inventory to the designated location, and place inventory on the shelf.

  • Fulfill any orders received from the shops by loading inventory items on cart, updating inventory, load into delivery van and deliver and unload at designated shop. 

  • Monitor inventory of all coffee products at each shop.

  • Perform physical inventory weekly to ensure accurate stock counts.

  • Reject heavily damaged shipments.

  • Using pallet jack receive and stage green coffee pallets.

  • Prepare shop for the workday and stage green coffee daily.

  • Perform at least two process improvement projects each year.

  • Make a list of orders for the production day and use provided training and available stock to fulfill open orders.

  • Use provided training to prepare tools and equipment for the production day Use provided training to complete facility opening/closing procedures.

  • Assist production leader with preventative maintenance tasks.

  • Use provided systems and training to assemble shipping containers, print labels and coordinate shipment.

  • Use provided training to perform light cleaning and organizing of workspace.

  • Blend, bag and label coffees as required.

  • Take initiative to help production leader and share knowledge to grow yourself and others.

  • Proactively communicate with production leader to ensure swift and seamless resolution of issues.

  • Act with honesty and unwavering integrity to do the right thing at all times for guests, team members and the business.

  • Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

  • All other duties as required.

Experience:

Preferred production, delivery or manufacturing experience minimum 2 years

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age requirement: 21 + years

  • Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.

  • Ability to report to work at scheduled time every scheduled workday.

  • Follow verbal and written instructions and adapt to change.

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and productivity in times of high volume.

  • Maintain professionalism at all times when dealing with co-workers and guests.

  • Clear and confident communication skills.

  • Food handler's certificate required within 30 days of hire.

  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Must be able to repeatedly lift 25+ lbs.

  • Must be able to occasionally lift 50+ lbs.
