A confidential healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Gynecologic Oncologist for a Central Indiana practice near New Palestine.

This role combines two clinic days and three operating-room days each week, with advanced surgical technology, including DaVinci robotics. The physician will care for patients across the gynecologic cancer spectrum while working alongside a multidisciplinary team and advanced practice provider support.

Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat patients with gynecologic malignancies and complex gynecologic conditions.
  • Provide care for ovarian, endometrial, uterine, cervical, and vaginal cancers.
  • Perform gynecologic oncology surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted surgery as appropriate.
  • Maintain an outpatient volume averaging 20–22 patients per day.
  • Coordinate individualized treatment plans with surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, research coordinators, and genetic counseling.
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers and clinical staff to support continuity of care.
  • Participate in weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage.
  • Deliver patient-centered care across outpatient, operative, and inpatient settings.


Schedule

  • Full-time; 40 scheduled hours weekly
  • Day shift
  • Two clinic days per week
  • Three operating-room days per week
  • Weekday, weekend, and holiday call: 1:3
  • Inpatient volume varies
  • Travel: never or rarely


Minimum Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
  • Specialized training and clinical capability in gynecologic oncology


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior surgical-procedure experience
  • Experience with DaVinci robotics
  • Inpatient-care experience
  • Strong interest in women’s health
  • Collaborative, patient-focused practice style and strong interpersonal skills
