Job Description
A confidential healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist for a Central Indiana practice near New Palestine.
This is a procedural cardiology role with a balanced alternating model: two weeks each month in clinic and two weeks rounding in the hospital. The practice supports PCI and peripheral vascular work, with established structural and vascular procedure capabilities.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide invasive and interventional cardiology services in outpatient and hospital settings.
- Perform PCI and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Participate in structural and complex coronary procedures, including TAVR, transcatheter mitral valve repair, angioplasty/stenting, rotational atherectomy, and carotid stenting.
- Manage an outpatient panel averaging 15–20 patients per day.
- Round on an average of 10–15 patients per day during hospital-based weeks.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff.
- Participate in STEMI, weekend, and holiday call rotation.
- Travel occasionally to outreach locations within one hour of the primary practice site.
Schedule
- Full-time; 40 scheduled hours weekly
- Alternating schedule
- Two weeks per month: clinic, Monday–Friday
- Two weeks per month: hospital rounding, Monday–Friday
- STEMI call: 1:6, Friday 5:00 p.m. through Friday 7:00 a.m.
- Weekend and holiday call: 1:6
- Minimal outreach travel; generally less than one hour from the primary site
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (MD or DO)
- Current physician license, required upon hire
- Board certification in the specialty discipline, or board eligibility where appropriate, required upon hire
- American Heart Association BLS certification, required upon hire
- Interventional cardiology expertise with PCI and peripheral vascular procedures

- Strong interpersonal and collaborative practice skills
