- Schedule: 07:00 AM β 07:30 PM | Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- Schedule Cycle: Managed every 4 weeks
- Facility Type: 182-bed Teaching Hospital, Trauma Level IV, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center.
- Department Culture: High-volume setting with a focus on team accountability and patient-centered care.
- Patient Volume: Averages 325 patients per day across all modalities.
- Patient Types: A wide variety of diagnoses across the Emergency Department (ED), Inpatient, and Outpatient areas.
- Support Staff: Nursing and Transport support are available within the department.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted.
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT(R) (CT)
- Licensure: North Carolina (NC) State Licensure is not required.
- Identification: Photo ID required (collected during the compliance process).
- Radius Rule: Traveler's permanent address must be more than 50 miles away from the home unit.
- EMR: EPIC
- Department Equipment: Siemens, Client
- Scrub Color: Black scrubs
- Parking: Free
- On-Call Requirements: None
- Floating: None (N/A)
- Holiday Expectations: Travelers are required to work 75% of holidays.
- Requested Time Off (RTO): Subject to manager approval.
- Facility Orientation: National Employee Orientation (NEO) completed via online courses.
- Unit Orientation: 3 to 5 days of departmental orientation (depending on the modality).
