Job Details
- Certifications: Active Michigan/MI Occupational Therapist License, Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Education/Experience: OT Experience REQUIRED, with a minimum of 2 years preferred.
- Position involves evaluating the patient's skeletal, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, developmental, social, and cognitive functions through formal and informal testing measures.
- Develops goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance, submitting and updating plans in coordination with physicians.
- Devises treatment schedules with specific frequency and duration, coordinating closely with patient, family, and clinical support staff.
- Educates patients, families, and caregivers regarding pathology, treatment options, prognosis, and rationale for interventions.
- Provides supervision to occupational therapy assistants, home health aides, and students per standards.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Submission requirements include work history, skills checklist, supervisory references from within the past two years, current Michigan/MI occupational therapist license, and BLS certification.
- Position start date: 09/21/2026. End date: 12/21/2026.
- Experience requirement: 0 years minimum, with a preferred 2 years.
