Job Title: Respite Provider
Location: Hobart, WI
We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Respite Provider to work with a young boy in the Hobart, WI area. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and committed to helping the child thrive through consistent routines and gentle guidance.
Wage:
- $14.13/hourly
Schedule:
- To be discussed and determined between provider and managing party (parents). Approximation as follows (20hrs. per month):
- Occasional weekdays afternoons after 3:30pm
- Occasional weekends
Tasks:
- Respite care is to be conducted in child’s home -or out in the community. Community outings are encouraged.
- Assist with transportation from school back home or out to community activities.
- Work on safety skills and transitions in home and out in the community.
- Assist with organizational skills and check in on schoolwork.
- Build on social and communication skills
- Hang out and have fun! This kiddo enjoys taking care of his kitties, going to the mall to browse, getting a bite to eat, riding around on his electric bike, and so much more..
Requirements:
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Preference to those with previous experience working with individuals with support needs.
- Comfortable with pets in home.
