Location: Hutchins, TX 75141
Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 (DOE)

Position Description

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport highway safety products, guardrail systems, bridge rail components, steel materials, and related construction products to customer and job site locations
• Perform daily logs and maintain accurate driver documentation
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance
• Secure loads properly and verify shipment accuracy before departure
• Load and unload materials using forklifts, cranes, or other material handling equipment as required
• Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules
• Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations while operating commercial vehicles
• Assist with warehouse, yard, and material handling duties when not driving
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of company vehicles and equipment
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and job site personnel

Position Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Clean driving record meeting company insurance requirements
• Current DOT medical certification required
• Minimum 5 years of CDL driving experience preferred
• Experience hauling construction materials, steel products, or oversized loads preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, inspections, and safety procedures
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment preferred
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs as needed
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed
• Dependable attendance and strong safety mindset
