Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (starting rate based on experience)

Avail Health & Behavioral Solutions, LLC is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Direct Care Provider to join our registry network as an independent contractor. In this role, you will provide specialized one-on-one community support for an individual on the autism spectrum who only speaks sign language. Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is preferred, but can be substituted for experience with non-verbal individuals. Routine care exclusively includes community engagement such as shopping, going out to restaurants, visiting the local horse farm, and trips to the park. This is a great opportunity for experienced caregivers looking for supplemental hours or seeking a new client to expand their caseload.

Responsibilities

This role is an incredible resume builder for Psychology, Special Education, and ABA majors, as well as other related human services programs. You will gain valuable hands-on experience with in-demand skills such as behavioral redirection, social modeling, and community integration. Plus, you will receive free state-mandated training credentials through the Florida Department of Health and Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). 

This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position, not a W-2 employment role. Contractors are strictly responsible for their own tax obligations (including self-employment taxes) and are not eligible for company-sponsored benefits, health insurance, or paid time off.
