Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Field Manager to oversee field operations, manage crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial construction and maintenance, is a hands-on leader, and possesses advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. THIS IS A HANDS ON POSITION, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN THE FIELD
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily field operations on industrial construction and maintenance projects. TRAVEL IS REQUIRED
- Lead, schedule, and coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and project plans.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to maintain productivity and project schedules.
- Perform quality control inspections and ensure work meets customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve field issues to minimize downtime and delays.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and field personnel.
- Complete daily reports, job documentation, and project updates.
- Mentor and develop field employees while promoting accountability and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of industrial construction, maintenance, or manufacturing supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, equipment installation, and maintenance.
- Extensive fabrication experience, including layout, fitting, and welding.
- Advanced hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Working knowledge of PLC systems and low-voltage electrical controls.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be willing and able to travel to project sites as required.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and shutdown schedules when project demands require.
