Production Worker - Sheet Metal Shop

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Production Worker to join our sheet metal shop. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

● Assist with the fabrication and production of sheet metal products

● Operate shop machinery and hand/power tools as trained

● Measure, cut, bend, form, and prepare sheet metal components

● Read work orders, measurements, and basic shop drawings

● Assemble and prepare finished products for the next stage of production or shipment

● Inspect work for quality and accuracy

● Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

● Follow all company safety procedures

● Assist other production team members as needed

Qualifications

● Previous manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or sheet metal is perferred, but we are willing to train the right person

● Comfortable working with hand and power tools

● Able to accurately use a tape measure

● Dependable and punctual

● Strong attention to detail

● Able to follow instructions and work independently once trained

● Willing to learn new equipment and processes

● Able to work effectively as part of a team

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. Applicants should be able to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and safely lift and move materials commonly handled in a sheet metal production environment.
