Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Angola, NY

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday + regular Saturday OT

Hours: Typically 45–50 hours/week

Expected Annual Income: Approximately $85K–$95K with overtime

A leading food manufacturing company is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to support production maintenance at its Angola, NY facility. This is a strong opportunity for a dependable, safety-focused mechanic looking for a stable first-shift role with regular overtime and long-term growth potential.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLC/VFD, and utility systems
• Repair and maintain motors, drives, power transmission systems, general machinery, and plant equipment
• Assist with equipment installation, startup, shutdown, and repairs
• Use hand tools, power tools, test equipment, welding equipment, cutting tools, and shop equipment
• Complete work orders, inspections, PM routines, and parts requests
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures while working around machinery, lifts, ladders, and tight spaces

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance or maintenance mechanic experience required
• Food manufacturing, packaging, or high-speed production experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude with some electrical and automation exposure
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, plumbing, PLCs, and VFDs is a plus
• Dependable, safety-focused, hands-on, and willing to learn
• Comfortable working overtime and supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment
