Job Description
Wasatch Healthcare Group | Provo, Utah
Part-Time | Mon, Wed, Fri | No Nights | No Weekends
Wasatch Healthcare Group is growing—and we’re looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who wants to be part of something different.
We are a cash-pay health and wellness practice focused on helping people feel better, move better, perform better, and live more independently. Our programs combine personalized medical care, wellness services, functional assessments, hormone optimization, weight management, neuropathy care, IV therapies, and other evidence-informed treatments.
We are looking for someone who is clinically confident, warm, organized, dependable, and genuinely enjoys people.
This isn't a job where you simply room patients, take vitals, and move on to the next chart.
We want someone who can make patients feel like family while delivering excellent clinical care.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain comprehensive vital signs and health histories
- Prepare patients for provider examinations and procedures
- Assist providers with examinations, assessments, and treatments
- Perform blood draws and specimen collection as trained and authorized
- Assist with injections and other clinical procedures within your scope and training
- Assist with IV therapy and wellness treatments as trained and permitted
- Perform and document basic diagnostic and functional assessments
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and clinical equipment
- Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation
- Follow infection-control, safety, HIPAA, and clinical protocols

- Help patients understand what to expect during their visits
- Answer questions and provide appropriate education within your scope
- Help create an environment where patients feel heard, respected, and cared for
- Celebrate patient progress and milestones with them
- Provide the kind of experience that makes patients want to come back
Practice Support
- Assist with scheduling, follow-up, and patient communication when needed
- Help maintain an organized, efficient clinical environment
- Support the provider and team with day-to-day clinic operations
- Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing education
- Be willing to learn new procedures, technologies, and wellness services
- Contribute ideas for improving the patient experience and clinic operations
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a CMA who is:
- Certified and in good standing
- Clinically competent and comfortable working directly with patients
- Warm, personable, and naturally good with people
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Dependable and accountable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing practice
- A strong communicator
- Comfortable learning new technology and clinical protocols
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team player
- Positive, energetic, and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable discussing health, wellness, lifestyle, and personal goals with patients
- Someone who takes pride in creating an exceptional patient experience
The Right Personality Matters
We would love to meet you if you are the kind of person who:
Walks in with a smile.
Notices when someone needs help.
Takes ownership instead of waiting to be asked.
Treats patients like people—not numbers.
Can work hard and still have fun.
Isn't afraid to learn something new.
Our philosophy is simple: Patients are people.
And every interaction is an opportunity to help someone feel a little better than when they walked through our door.
Qualifications
Required:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain
- Previous clinical experience preferred
