Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and trailers.
• Load and unload goods using dollies or manual lifting techniques to ensure proper handling of products.
• Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at multiple customer locations.
• Deliver items accurately and professionally, providing excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns courteously.
• Verify deliveries against invoices, ensuring all items are accounted for before departure.
• Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of the vehicle to adhere to safety standards.
• Document delivery activities thoroughly, including mileage, delivery times, and any incidents during route driving.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong understanding of route driving and load & unload procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to tow trailer.
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform moving tasks safely.
• Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and driving in various conditions.
• Must be available weekends.
