Design/Release Engineer- Rocker Moldings

Design and release engineer for rocker moldings, supporting rocker molding design and development, with additional responsibility for body scope oversight across related components/systems.

Skills Required:

·         Design Release Engineer

Experience Required:

·         Must possess an understanding of how to design & release injection molded plastics automotive systems components.

Experience Preferred:

·         Previous client experience is preferred. Previous experience in exterior systems design & release is also preferred.

·         Know how to design & release a rocker molding system to meet North American legal requirements, understand the client design and release process, understand GPDS, and know how to provide feedback during feasibility checkpoints.

·         Possess an understanding of rocker molding/exterior trim system requirement.

·         Experience managing or coordinating body scope oversight across cross-functional teams and suppliers is also preferred, including tracking program timing, part maturity, and issue resolution across the body system.

Education Required:

·         Bachelor's Degree
