Production Shop Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Production Shop Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, lead production personnel, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform production activities including:
• Structural fitting and welding
• PVC pipe fitting and assembly
• Motor and instrumentation installation/wiring
• Pressure testing
• Quality Assurance & Quality Control
• Inventory management
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues with system designers and develop solutions.
• Monitor production schedules and maintain on-time project delivery.
• Enforce safety standards and PPE compliance.
• Review incoming shipments and documentation.
• Prepare packing lists and shipping paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Strong fabrication, assembly, and production management experience.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings, control panel drawings, and wiring schematics.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook.
• Adaptable, flexible, and willing to lead by example in a hands-on environment.
