Position Title: Warehouse, Delivery & Installation Specialist

Position Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire / Temp-to-Hire

Location: Main Warehouse / Metro Area Client Sites

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Occasional overtime as needed)

POSITION OVERVIEW

On behalf of our client—a leading commercial furniture and workplace solutions provider—we are recruiting a dependable, hands-on Warehouse, Delivery & Installation Specialist. This multi-faceted role combines warehouse logistics, local driving, and on-site furniture assembly in professional corporate environments.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, experienced with power tools, physically active, and possesses a clean driving record. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Warehouse Logistics (~35%): Receive incoming freight, inspect shipments for quality, verify inventory counts against shipping manifests, and stage orders for scheduled client deliveries. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

• Driving & Transport (~25%): Safely operate company box trucks or cargo vans to transport furniture components to commercial job sites across the regional metro area. Perform routine vehicle safety checks, secure cargo using straps and pads, and maintain delivery records.

• On-Site Installation (~40%): Unload, assemble, align, and level modular office workstations, executive desks, conference tables, and architectural wall systems according to floor plans and blueprints.

• Client Interaction & Site Care: Represent the client professionally on corporate job sites. Install surface protection to safeguard floors and walls during move-ins, and perform post-installation cleanup.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED required; 1–3 years of experience in commercial furniture assembly, warehouse operations, or professional moving preferred.

• Driving Requirements: Valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Ability to obtain or possess a DOT Medical Card.

• Technical Aptitude: Proficient with hand and power tools (drills, impact drivers, tape measures, levels) and capable of reading basic floor plans or assembly diagrams.

• Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude when working in active corporate client environments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lifting & Mobility: Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently, and up to 100+ lbs as part of a team lift.

• Stamina: Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and pushing/pulling for full shifts.

• Work Environments: Willingness to work across varied settings, including active warehouses, commercial job sites, and finished corporate offices.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
