Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) in a day shift setting. This position involves evaluating outpatient patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and ensuring functional recovery to facilitate a safe return to community activities. The role emphasizes patient education, professional collaboration, and adherence to organizational standards to deliver high-quality outpatient therapy services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift; 8 hours per day; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school, 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience, CPR certification, active and applicable license for the state where work will be performed, and successful completion of an assignment with the agency or organization is highly desired.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with the organization is nice to have, along with a desire for a 6-month duration.
- Additional Information: Responsible for completing comprehensive patient evaluations, developing treatment goals aligned with patient progress, and documenting care accurately and timely in accordance with relevant guidelines. Assist in student programs by providing supervision and feedback, and actively pursue ongoing professional development. Ensure all care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance parameters. Demonstrates commitment to safety, performance improvement initiatives, and adherence to regulatory and professional standards.
