Help individuals enhance their communication and swallowing abilities in a supportive environment! **ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES** - Perform direct patient care: assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders. - Complete thorough patient documentation, including initial evaluations, plans of care, progress reports, and discharge reports. - Contact insurance companies regarding benefits to ensure patients receive the support they need. - Prepare for engaging evaluation and treatment sessions to maximize patient outcomes. - Educate an interdisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, dietitians, and food service workers, sharing insights from the latest research. - Create and deliver dynamic in-service presentations and educational opportunities for staff, empowering everyone involved in patient care. - Collaborate with healthcare providers to create patient-centered treatment plans that yield the best results. - Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment following each session, ensuring a welcoming space for patients. - Provide friendly reminder calls to patients, reinforcing our commitment to their care. - Navigate patients and families through the hospital experience with compassion and expertise. - Perform other duties as assigned to support the team's mission. **Shift Information** - Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM **Minimum Years of Experience** - Less than 1 year **Certifications / Requirements** - BLS/BCLS required **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
