Location: Tremonton, Utah

Schedule: Every Other Weekend – Saturday & Sunday

Day Shift: 4:15 AM – 4:30 PM

Grave Shift: 4:15 PM – 4:30 AM

Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable Machine Operators to join a fast-paced food manufacturing operation in Tremonton, Utah. These positions are ideal for candidates with manufacturing experience who are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working 12-hour shifts every other weekend.

Day Shift

4:15 AM – 4:30 PM

Grave Shift

4:15 PM – 4:30 AM

Saturday & Sunday, every other weekend

Work every other weekend with weekdays off.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


• Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.

• Set up and perform equipment changeovers as needed.

• Identify and correct routine equipment and production issues.

• Perform basic equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.

• Use basic hand and power tools to support equipment operations.

• Complete required quality checks on ingredients, products, and packaging materials.

• Record production information including waste, downtime, efficiency, and other required data.

• Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow sanitation requirements.

• Assist with shipping, receiving, material staging, storage, and supply replenishment as needed.

• Support other Machine Operators and team members during breaks, absences, and production needs.

• Communicate production and equipment information effectively with team members and other shifts.

• Participate in safety, quality, sanitation, and continuous-improvement activities.

• Assist in other areas of the facility when needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


• Intermediate mechanical aptitude and understanding of production equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot routine equipment and production problems.

• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.

• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and established procedures.

• Basic to intermediate math skills.

• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.

• Ability to accurately record production information.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

• Willingness to learn multiple pieces of equipment and support different areas of production.

• Strong attendance and dependability.

Qualifications & Requirements


• High School Diploma or GED.

• 3+ years of manufacturing or related experience preferred.

• Previous machine operation, production, food manufacturing, packaging, or equipment experience is highly desirable.

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to stand and work for the majority of a 12-hour shift..

• Must be comfortable working around moving machinery and production equipment.

• Must be willing to work overtime when required.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
