HVAC Controls Technician

Outsource is currently looking for an HVAC Controls Technician with roughly 2+ years of experience. We have a great opportunity that requires travel to the Barker, NY area. Our client is looking to bring someone on immediately. Schedule is 6/12's.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a Controls Technician in a critical facility environment.

Experienced installing, configuring, commissioning and programming building automation systems.

Advanced knowledge of BAS hardware, software and programming languages.

Strong electrical troubleshooting abilities.

Understand workflow on commercial construction sites.

Understand basic refrigeration cycle.

Air Handler and Rooftop Unit construction experience in VAV and constant volume applications.

Control valve and damper wiring experience.

Ability to travel to Barker, NY for a long term project.

Responsibilities

Perform commissioning including wiring, point-to point verification, system integration.

Read and interpret blueprints.

Testing of sequences of operations.

Troubleshooting all devices, controllers and wiring.

Partner with Engineers and customers to ensure all requirements and project requirements have been met.

Document your work by completing project reports.

Compensation

$45-55/hr. DOE

$80 per working day per diem
