Assembly Technician

JobFinders is seeking dependable Assembly Technicians to join a growing manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for assembling and preparing specialized equipment and components used in commercial security technology applications.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hand tools, and able to follow detailed instructions while maintaining a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electronic components according to work instructions and specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment as needed
• Install brackets, housings, hardware, wiring, and other components
• Perform basic testing, inspection, and quality checks on completed assemblies
• Read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and work orders
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
• Package and prepare finished products for shipment
• Identify quality issues or assembly problems and communicate them to supervisors
• Work efficiently while maintaining consistent attention to detail
• Perform other general production and assembly duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or production experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with basic hand and power tools
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and move materials and finished products as required
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Previous experience with electrical, mechanical, electronics, or technical assembly is a plus
