Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient (IP) position is available at a skilled healthcare facility in a metropolitan area. This role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation services to adult patients with various diagnoses such as cerebrovascular accidents, traumatic brain injuries, fractures, and cardiac conditions. The incumbent will work within a team to support patient recovery and functional independence, contributing to the facilitys rehabilitation program.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours daily with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state, graduate degree in Occupational Therapy, proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient or acute rehabilitation settings.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient rehabilitation units and knowledge of common diagnoses such as CVA, TBI, fx, and cardiac conditions.
- Additional Information: The position involves supporting adult and geriatric patient populations in a rehabilitation setting, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams, and adhering to hospital protocols and standards for patient care.
