Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment at a nationally recognized pediatric healthcare facility in Boston, Massachusetts. Position Details- Location: Boston, MA
- Start Date: September 14, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule Options:
- 3x12-Hour Shifts
- 4x10-Hour Shifts
- 40 Hours Per Week
- Rotating shifts based on department needs
- Primarily Night Shifts
- Weekday and Weekend Coverage Required
- Shift preferences may be considered
- Travel Pay Package: Up to $3,907/Week
- Perform routine and emergency CT imaging procedures
- Review imaging orders and evaluate exam appropriateness based on patient history and clinical indications
- Verify patient identification using established hospital protocols
- Perform IV placement for contrast-enhanced procedures
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety
- Assist with X-Ray procedures when needed
- Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC
- Minimum 1 Year of Pediatric CT Experience Required
- Minimum 1 Year of CT Experience Required
- Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License Required
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) Certifications Required
- BLS Certification Required
- Proficiency in IV Placement
- Experience with radiology systems and applications preferred
- Ability to assist with X-Ray procedures as needed

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
- Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
- A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
